SASHIMI and sushi are one of Captain John's favorite Japanese cusines enjoyed throughout the area. John's love for seafood has prompted him to name his boat after his favorite foods.

Charter boat SASHIMI is a 24 foot - 1992 Sea Ray Laguna powered with twin 135 horse power Mercury outboards. The style of the vessel is a comfortable, open, walk around environment where fisherman and open water enthusiasts may enjoy a full 360 degree view of the seashore landscape. The front bow portion of the boat can easily provide for up to 6 adults for cruising the bays. Comfortable fishing accommodations can provide for up to 4 - 5 adults and/or a combination of children not to exceed 6 paying passengers.

The ENGINES are young and powerful capable of reaching 40 mph on calm waters. Typical cruising speeds in the ocean are between 25 - 30 mph providing for quick mobilization onto promising fishing grounds. Captain John has had years of experience with his vessel and can testify that it's a sound vessel capable of handling well in the ocean, river and bays. The quickness of the boat is also a benefit to avoid approaching foul weather and get customers into safe, dry haven without incident.

SAFETY is a primary concern aboard SASHIMI. In accordance with United States Coast Guard requirements all required safety equipment is located on board. This include one of the latest Global Positioning systems, depth / fish finder, VHF Radio, Cell Phone, Type I Personal Floatation Devices (Life Jackets) with signaling lights, large throw ring, First Aid Kit and emergency signaling devices. Captain John won't leave port without a "Trip Safety Briefing" explaining the safety precautions for each trip and the itinerary of the trip.
